Nexeon Picks Up Awards on Two Continents

January 20, 2025

Nexeon has been named in The Sunday Times 100 Tech listing as one of Britain's fastest-growing private technology companies. This award recognises the commercial success achieved by the selected companies over a sustained period.

The pace of growth required to secure a place on the Sunday Times 100 Tech listing table is considerable, and this accolade comes right after Nexeon was a recipient of another award - for ‘Outstanding Export and Investment Companies’ in the Jeonbuk State Export and Investment Merit Awards. These honour the efforts of domestic and international companies in Jeonbuk state, South Korea.

Nexeon is a leader in the battery and semiconductor materials industry, and has announced the establishment of a manufacturing facility in Korea that will further strengthen its position and its ability to supply customers in Asia. It has also announced that it entered into a long-term supply agreement with Panasonic for powering lithium-ion cells with its next generation ‘drop-in’ material.

“We are naturally delighted at being recipients of these prestigious awards”, said Scott Brown, CEO of Nexeon. “The construction of our production facility in Gunsan is now mechanically complete and we will be producing product at scale in the very near future; and with the support of our trusted partner, OCI, who can provide us with a scalable and cost-effective supply of monosilane, the future is bright.”

Jim Armitage, business editor of The Sunday Times, said: “The Sunday Times 100 Tech shows that Britain’s technology entrepreneurs are creating high-value jobs and delivering cutting-edge goods and services. These businesses are proof that Britain remains a powerhouse for innovation.”
